My name is Diego, I'm 21 years old and I live in Alcobendas (Madrid). I'm studying a double degree in Physiotherapy and Sports Science at the Rey Juan Carlos University and I've been practicing triathlon for the last 6 years.
I consider myself a very normal boy. I live in a very united family because of a circumstance that makes it special for all of us who are part of it: my brother Carlos. I am a demanding person with myself, constant, disciplined and willing to make the necessary efforts to try to achieve the objectives that I set for myself at every moment, both academically and sportively. In my free time, apart from doing sports, I like to meet up with my friends from school, from university or from my triathlon club.
As some of you may know, a few months ago I let a rival pass before the finish line, as I think he deserved it and that was the fairest thing. And since then my life has changed. Above all, because I am on the way to fulfilling the biggest dream I have had since I was a child: to be able to help my brother, and those people in his same situation, to have a better life.
